Retail corridors and shopping centers both matter

Daly City identifies Mission Street, Westlake and Serramonte among its retail areas. A business there may combine a selling floor, a service counter and stock held away from customers. We can discuss all of those spaces together. The aim is a count that reflects your operation, whether you need merchandise totals, individual item quantities or a record of equipment used by the business.

Give the returns counter a place in the plan

Customer returns can accumulate outside the normal shelving system. Separate merchandise that is ready for resale from items awaiting inspection, supplier credit or a decision by your team. If your records have already changed but the goods are still present, explain that status. During a change-of-ownership count, this preparation helps the parties review those products deliberately instead of treating every item behind the counter as available stock.

Check what is inside a retail set

Gift sets, multipacks and boxed accessories may have a product code for the whole package as well as codes on the pieces inside. Show us how you sell and record them. Mark opened sets or missing components and identify any empty display boxes. We can discuss whether the count should retain the complete set, the individual units or a separate exception for an incomplete package.

Questions about your Daly City count

Our storage room is outside the shop. Can it be counted?

Yes. Give us its location and access details along with the main premises. A simple map or room description helps make sure reserve merchandise is included in the scope, even if customers never see that space.

Should an empty display box count as stock?

Identify it as a display and show where the actual product is stored. For an asset or fixture count, tell us if the display itself should be recorded separately from merchandise.
