Madera inventory services
In Madera, inventory can mean packaged merchandise, a parts room or equipment that keeps your business running. Tell PIA what you need to understand, and we will help shape the count around that decision.
Liquor stores, convenience stores, retail, warehouses and more—PIA’s full range of services is available throughout Madera.
On-site counts from our Fresno-based team.

A business mix that goes beyond the storefront
Madera's business community includes family shops and restaurants alongside agriculture, logistics and manufacturing. The city also identifies food-equipment and building-products businesses among its industrial operations. For an owner with both a sales counter and a working stockroom, that mix makes a useful distinction: goods sold to customers, supplies consumed on jobs and equipment used by staff need clear treatment.

Separate resale stock from supplies already in use
In a Madera parts or supply business, a full box on a shelf may serve a different purpose from material issued to a technician. Before counting, identify service carts, job bins and supplies awaiting installation. Tell us whether those quantities remain part of your stock records. A clear boundary helps you compare the physical result with the same inventory your office is tracking, rather than combining every item in the building.
Make the unit meaningful to your buyer
Building and maintenance supplies may arrive in cartons but leave by the piece, roll or length. Choose the unit you want reported and explain package sizes before the count. If you are transferring the business, give both parties the same reference for opened packages and leftover material. Equipment can be documented separately, keeping the merchandise discussion from getting tangled with the tools needed to run the operation.
Questions about your Madera count
Do items on a service cart still count as inventory?
They may. Explain whether they have been issued to a job, sold or simply moved from storage. We will use the agreed boundary instead of treating every cart as either full stock or an automatic exclusion.
Can an annual count focus on a particular stockroom?
Yes. Partial and cycle counts are available. Identify the room, categories and decision you want the count to support so the result is clearly distinguished from a count of the entire business.
