Business extends beyond downtown shopping

Shadelands adds a mix of professional, medical, shopping and dining businesses to Walnut Creek’s commercial landscape. That makes equipment and operating supplies just as relevant as merchandise for many local owners. We can discuss the departments, rooms and stock categories that matter to you, whether your business is based in Shadelands, downtown or another part of the city.

Identify equipment that serves several departments

A shared printer, workstation or movable cart can appear on more than one internal list. For an asset inventory, identify the physical item once and explain how you want its location or department recorded. Show us leased equipment and items belonging to staff or another tenant. We can discuss the fields that will make the inventory useful without assuming every object in the office belongs to your business.

Make floor samples recognizable in a retail count

For a showroom or specialty retailer, a floor sample can be for sale, reserved or used only to demonstrate a product. Mark those differences and tell us where boxed stock or accompanying pieces are kept. If the sample has a reduced price, provide the agreed basis for a financial inventory. This preparation helps connect the display customers see with the merchandise and equipment your business actually holds.

Questions about your Walnut Creek count

Can we count supplies in several office departments?

Yes. Identify the supply cupboards, shared storage and department-level stock you want included. We can discuss whether you need separate quantities by location or a combined view of selected supplies.

What if our asset list uses old room names?

Provide the old names alongside current room labels where possible. A short location reference helps connect the physical walkthrough with your existing list and flag items that have moved.
