A downtown with active storefronts and shared spaces
Sunnyvale’s downtown includes historic Murphy Avenue’s restaurants and entertainment alongside the Cityline mix of commercial, office and residential space. The city also identifies a vehicle-free block of Murphy Avenue. For a business in that setting, the right entrance, storage access and operating schedule deserve attention before counting. We also serve businesses elsewhere in Sunnyvale, with the count planned for their particular premises.

Plan the route from the entrance to the stock
A downtown street address may lead customers to the front door while deliveries use another entrance. Share the best arrival point, any building contact and where each storage room sits. For a shared building, identify which doors your staff can open. This small amount of preparation helps the count cover upstairs rooms, basement storage or a separate service entrance without relying on the public-facing address alone.
Include what moves between indoor and outdoor service
If your business uses outdoor seating or movable displays, decide where those assets will be when counted. Chairs, heaters, service carts and portable fixtures may move after closing. For food and beverage stock, show us both sealed goods and opened ingredients or bottles, and explain your measurement units. Merchandise, operating supplies and equipment can all be discussed together while remaining distinguishable in the scope you approve.
Questions about your Sunnyvale count
Can you count after a restaurant finishes service?
Tell us your service and cleanup schedule when requesting a quote. We can discuss timing around the point when stock movement settles, including ingredients, bar stock and deliveries expected after closing.
What if some office equipment is in shared rooms?
List the rooms and identify which items belong to your business. A building contact or existing asset labels can help separate shared, leased and owned equipment during planning.
