Define what belongs inside a kit
A boxed repair kit may be one saleable item while its loose replacement components appear elsewhere in the product list. Show us the difference between complete kits, partly used sets and loose parts. Agree how each should be recorded before comparing the count with your system. That distinction is useful for a parts supplier, a retailer selling bundles or any business that assembles products.
Follow an item from stock into use
A spare device taken from storage and installed in the business can remain on a stock record after its role has changed. Explain how you record those issues and which date your comparison file represents.
